Ingredients

Scale
  • 8 oz fettuccine pasta
  • 1 lb sirloin steak, trimmed
  • 3 cloves garlic, minced
  • 2 tbsp Cajun seasoning
  • 2 tbsp honey
  • 1 cup heavy cream
  • ½ cup freshly grated Parmesan cheese
  • 2 tbsp extra virgin olive oil
  • Salt and pepper to taste

Instructions

  1. Cook the fettuccine in salted boiling water according to package instructions until al dente. Drain and reserve 1 cup of pasta water.
  2. In a large skillet over medium-high heat, heat olive oil. Season the steak with salt, pepper, and Cajun seasoning. Sear for 4-5 minutes per side until browned and cooked to your liking. Remove from skillet and let rest before slicing.
  3. In the same skillet, add minced garlic and sauté for about 1 minute until fragrant. Stir in heavy cream, honey, and additional Cajun seasoning if desired; simmer for about 5 minutes.
  4. Add cooked pasta and sliced steak to the skillet; toss everything together until well combined, adding reserved pasta water as needed to reach desired consistency.
  5. Remove from heat; stir in Parmesan cheese until melted and smooth. Serve hot.
