Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 lb sirloin or ribeye steak
  • 8 oz large pasta shells
  • 2 tsp smoked paprika
  • 4 oz cream cheese
  • 3 cloves fresh garlic, minced
  • 1 medium onion, chopped
  • 1 cup beef broth
  • 1 cup heavy cream
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • Olive oil for cooking

Instructions

  1. Cook the pasta shells according to package instructions until al dente. Drain and set aside.
  2. In a skillet over medium-high heat, drizzle olive oil and season the steak with salt and pepper. Sear for about 3 minutes on each side until cooked to your liking. Remove and let rest before slicing.
  3. In the same skillet, sauté chopped onions and minced garlic for about 2 minutes until fragrant.
  4. Lower the heat, add smoked paprika, then stir in beef broth. Bring to a simmer and blend in cream cheese until melted, followed by heavy cream.
  5. Slice the rested steak into thin strips and return it to the skillet along with cooked pasta shells. Toss gently until well-coated in sauce.
  6. Serve warm, garnished with fresh herbs if desired.
